India bag a gold medal at beijing olympics through Abhinav Bindra!

Abhinav bhindra is a proud winner of india's first individual olympic gold medal in Mens 10m Air Rifile at 2008 beijing olympics.

My heartly congratulations to him for the achivement that he brought to the country!

But i wished that "he could have been one of the many to do so and not the only one".

It never means that i am not feeling proud of the great achivement of the history, but at the same time i also feel a bit ashmed of the fact that a country of billions has only baged one gold medal till now!

Abhinav bindra has shown that it could be achived through high dedication, will power, and high coaching techinques.

• One needs high quality of infrastructure, coaching facilities etc. which is not at all given importance in this country.
• Athletes need a high quality coaching facilities which is proved by our first gold medalist Abhinav.
• Indians do not lac in the physical or mental strength regardin to any sport but it is just that we do not have  better facilites.
• Our boxers like Akhil, Vijendra and Jitendra have done a terrific job till now at olympics and these three are only a bout away from getting a medal!
• Our Boxers had nice facilites to train with and with constant practice they have reached such heights.
• Never to forget to mention the name of Saina Nehwal, who in her first olympic  had such sucess.

Thus we can see that Indians can actually bring a lot of gold medals but some necessary inputs have to be changed!

My wishes to all the Indian athletes to do really well at beijing olympics!

But a question "Why Indians are not getting enough gold medals?" have to be answered in its complete sense.

One of the main reason that why india do nat produce enough gold medal is that the parents always want their children to become a doctor or engineer or a cricketer ,only a handful of parents would allow their children to choose their life their career and provide sufficient facilites for it! Even the authorites have to be blamed equally!
